As part of the Autism Services and Resources CT annual walk for autism, they sell locally grown flowers to help raise money. I was tasked with creating an information card that would market and promote the sale. One requirement I had was to use images of the flowers that have been sold in the past. At ASRC they liked to emphasize with images rather than graphics because they felt it would connect to more people and could draw in more consumers. With the combination of images and graphics like the flowers at the top, the design layout has a good balance that doesn’t distract you from one part over another. If I were to redesign the card again I would try and make more of a contrast between the images and text. While the text does stick out, I feel like emphasizing the contrast between the images and text while still keeping the images a point of emphasis could pop the text out more.
